Job description

Key Responsibilities:

- Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and confirm product availability.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Assist in the creation and processing of purchase orders.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate order specifications.
- Monitor the status of purchase orders and provide regular updates to the procurement team.
- Work closely with logistics to track and coordinate the delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate and organized procurement documentation and files.
- Assist in the preparation of reports related to procurement activities.
- Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels.
- Communicate with warehouse staff to ensure proper stock levels.
- Provide administrative support to the procurement team, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Assist in researching potential suppliers and evaluating their products and services.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that received goods meet specified standards.
- Address any issues related to product quality or delivery discrepancies.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced procurement environment.
