**What You’ll Do**
- Drive technology design, implementation, execution, and/or optimization for projects/accounts to accelerate customer outcomes.
- Assist customers with integration and implementation of tools, systems, and service assurance for Cisco technologies.
- Support presale activities and translate business requirements into solution design.
- Build customer simulations in test labs to resolve/validate issues.
- Build and deliver customer collateral, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- Drive customer technology transitions, influencing solution architectures and services.
- Align with and support company policies and processes and utilize relevant tools to efficiently execute the role and support Professional Services’ strategies and goals.
- Play the role of an individual contributor.

**Role and specific responsibilities**
- Associate with customers along with appropriate internal and external resources' deployment/optimization of Cisco services and solutions.
- Takes ownership of task/project implementation for assigned engagements.
- Implement new techniques and methodologies utilized in customer delivery and share lessons learned with the broader team.
- Builds and reviews project work e.g. Design recommendations, High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, Implementation/ Change Management Plans.
- Builds and/or use test environments as the need arises to resolve sophisticated problems & compatibility issues.
- Demonstrates software skills and tools to configure, deploy Cisco products and solutions.
- Gives in the development of digital intellectual capital (e.g. scripts, digital signatures).
- Acts as a focal point for problem resolution for assigned customer engagements. Assures accurate and quick resolution of major customer problems across an appropriate range of technologies.

Technology Requirements - Cisco Data Centre products (Nexus 9000, Nexus 3000, Nexus 7000/5000, Cisco ACI) - Mandatory - Cisco ASR 9K (IOS XR) - Cisco ASR 1K (IOS/IOS XE) - Routing/Switching: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MST, PVST, L2 switching - Mandatory - Broad technical knowledge of the R&S, Data center and its components: Applications, Network, Server and projects surrounding their planning, design, implementation, operation, and optimization.
- Architectural knowledge of virtualization tools and concepts is a bonus, to help architecture refresh discussions. - Possess a clear understanding of capacity planning in various scenarios. Knowledge of Cisco routing/switching including Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, XR and NX-OS - Hands on and troubleshooting Nexus, ACI Network
- Experience on Legacy to ACI Migration - Knowledge on various DC Architecture (DC-DR, Active-Active DC etc.) - Understanding of ACI Multipod, Multisite, PBR will be an advantage. - Experience with L4-L7- load balancing, firewalls, etc. will be an advantage. - Strong knowledge of IP/MPLS
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills: ability to communicate technology strategy and architecture approach to engineers, executives, and Cisco customers.
- VXLAN, ACI - Mandatory - Certifications: CCIE preferred, CCNP is must. - Fundamentals of Cisco SD-WAN will be an advantage Functional Requirements
- Able to design DC networks - Able to handle escalations and customer communication - Ability to configure and troubleshoot Nexus devices, ACI
- Communication skills to include conflict management, negotiation, presentation/demonstration, and written communication-cultural sensitivity, goal alignment, learning agility, and virtual/remote training. - Ability to work in high-pressure environments
