**Responsibilities**:

- Find, coordinate and assign photo assignments to photographers for The Daily Barometer, newspaper and websites; coach photographers to pitch their own ideas, choose and edit their best photos
- Edit photos using editing software
- Ensure all photos have accurate and engaging captions written in Associated Press style
- Ensure all photo assignments accurately represent the story and follow proper ethical guidelines
- Compile and post photo galleries online on a regular basis on website(s) and social media platforms
- Assist Baro with production, reviewing pages and photo placement, and ensuring photo caption information is accurate and complete before publication
- Assist with breaking and other news coverage as needed, including nights, weekends and academic breaks

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
