Production Supervisor

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Monitor production processes and equipment to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Train and develop production staff, providing guidance on best practices, safety procedures, and quality control measures.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to production team members, ensuring equitable distribution of workload.
- Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, inventory levels, and labor hours.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to address equipment issues and minimize downtime.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Lead daily production meetings to communicate goals, priorities, and performance metrics to production staff.
- Foster a positive work environment and resolve employee conflicts or issues in a timely and effective manner.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a production environment, with at least 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and coach a diverse team of production workers.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing production challenges.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control principles.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees at all levels.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other production management software.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings as needed to support production schedules.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
