**Job Description Summary**: This role supports the Quality Data Science and Analytics - Center of Excellence (CoE) mission. The CoE’s objective is to support the delivery of insightful analytics to understand the current state of product performance, quality system performance, and regulatory compliance standards.

The Jr Data Scientist will work under the direction of the Lead Data Scientist for leveraging company data to drive analytical solutions. The Jr Data Scientists will be responsible for developing and testing computational models, conducting exploratory data analysis, supporting existing analytical solutions, and discovering insights through the use of statistical and algorithmic methods (for instance, machine learning) and defined data visualization techniques.

The Jr Data Scientist has an intermediate level of expertise in using statistical and technical skills to implement data science solutions, including raw data preparation, exploratory analysis, data visualization, and software development related to data science.

The work is multi-faceted, which involves developing, testing, and implementing algorithms that discover valuable insights from a large volume of data from various sources using cloud computing tools and technologies to translate new capabilities into data products for our stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:
Understand business problems and develop end-to-end data science use cases
- Collaborate across the function to understand data and to find ways to visualize and communicate your work to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Evolve best data operational practices and maintain all compliance requirements
- Monitor data science models in production
- Actively network on a regular basis with SME to better understand the business/technical mechanics that generated the data
- Promote collaboration and knowledge exchange with other data science teams within and outside the organization
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy
