Bartender/mixologist

A bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guest. He/ she must have a thorough knowledge of various types of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits, and be able to provide recommendations based on the customer's preferences.

**Duties & Responsibility:

1. Greeting customers and taking their drink orders promptly and accurately.

2. Mixing and serving drinks according to recipes or customer preferences.

3. Keeping the bar area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.

4. Checking identification of customers to ensure they meet the legal drinking age.

5. Providing excellent customer service by engaging with guests and fulfilling their requests.

6. Operating cash registers and handling monetary transactions accurately.

7. Handling minor customer complaints or resolving issues professionally.

8. Adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations, including responsible alcohol service.

9. Collaborating with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to customers.

10. Monitoring and managing the inventory of beverages, ordering supplies as needed.

11. Preparing garnishments, such as fruit slices or cocktail umbrellas, to accompany drinks.

12. Maintaining knowledge of new and popular drink recipes, as well as any special promotions or events.

Bartenders are expected to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as they interact directly with customers. They should also possess good stamina and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, bartenders must have the ability to multitask and handle pressure during busy periods.

Overall, the role of a bartender is to provide an enjoyable and memorable drinking experience for customers while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
