An Architect Draftsman is responsible for creating detailed architectural drawings and plans under the supervision of architects and designers. The role requires proficiency in drafting software, knowledge of architectural principles, and the ability to translate conceptual designs into accurate technical drawings for construction projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Drafting and Design**:

- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, blueprints, and plans based on the architect’s concepts.
- Convert rough sketches and ideas into precise technical drawings and CAD files.
- Revise and update drawings as needed throughout the design process.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and standards.

**Collaboration**:

- Work closely with architects, engineers, and other design team members to ensure that all design elements are captured correctly in the drafts.
- Coordinate with contractors and consultants to provide clarification or resolve any design issues.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and design documentation for client meetings.

**Software Proficiency**:

- Utilize CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) to produce architectural plans, sections, elevations, and 3D renderings.
- Stay updated on new software features, tools, and design trends.

**Document Control and Maintenance**:

- Maintain organized archives of design documents, drawings, and project files.
- Ensure that all drawings are up-to-date and reflect the current stage of the design process.
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including schedules, material specifications, and other project details.

**Site Visits and Surveys**:

- Occasionally visit construction sites to conduct surveys, gather measurements, and inspect work for accuracy.
- Assist in the documentation of existing conditions for renovation projects.

**Quality Control**:

- Review plans to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements.
- Identify and correct errors in designs, measurements, or materials.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- A degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional certification in drafting or design (e.g., AutoCAD Certified Professional) is a plus.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience (3+ years) as a draftsman, architectural assistant, or similar role.
- Experience with architectural software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.) is essential.
- Knowledge of construction documents, building codes, and regulations.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in 2D and 3D drafting, with strong technical drawing skills.
- Good understanding of architectural design principles, materials, and construction methods.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with design teams and clients.

**Other Requirements**:

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Familiarity with green building practices and sustainability is a plus.

Pay: ₹23,807.10 - ₹40,264.75 per month
