**Job Outline**

If you love editing videos, building custom animations, and creating content for different audiences, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

Most of our client videos are 2-3 minutes long, and are completed in 5-7 business days. All videos are created using stock footage, motion graphics, animation, licensed music, and professional voice overs.

We are looking for long-term, remote-working, contracted Video Media Editors to join the Storyboard creative team. Successful applicants need to have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in video editing and motion graphics.

As an integral part of our video creation team, you:

- take pride in your ability to collaborate and handle multiple projects at once
- are able to work with tight deadlines
- can come up with ideas for video styles and execute them from start to finish, on client projects
- have over 5 years’ professional experience with video editing and motion graphics

Storyboard Video Media Editors work remotely and individually, but as part of a collaborative team that meets on daily video Zoom calls - to outline workflow objectives and share updates.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Be available to work standard business hours, Monday-Friday, while responding promptly to communications from team leaders during the working day.
- Follow client briefs and scripts to create videos using stock footage, motion graphics, animations, licensed music, and professional voice overs (content libraries are provided by Storyboard)
- Time management and good communication to meet strict deadlines with guidance from team leaders

**Essential Requirements**:

- Great communication, time management, and collaboration skills
- Self Starter - Able to stay organized and work independently
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Illustrator
- Must have animation and motion graphics experience

**Equipment Requirements**:

- You will use your own computer, which needs to be strong enough to run professional programs, and handle 4k video and animated projects
- The most recent versions of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro should be installed on your computer
- A web camera for video Zoom meetings with other Storyboard team members
