**Job Title**: VMC Operator

**Location**: Bengaluru
**Department**: Production / Manufacturing
**Reports To**: Production Supervisor / Shop Manager
**Experience Required**: 2-5 years (varies by employer)
**Education**: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate VMC machines independently.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files.
- Select and install correct tooling and fixtures.
- Perform program loading, offsets, and minor edits (Fanuc / Siemens / other controllers).
- Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure components meet quality standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and report any malfunctions.
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.
- Maintain proper documentation of production and inspection reports.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a VMC Operator or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of CNC programming (G-code/M-code) and controller operations.
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
- Understanding of machining processes and tolerances.
- Basic computer knowledge for data entry and reporting.
- Good communication and team-working skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with multi-axis VMC machines (3-axis, 4-axis, 5-axis).
- Knowledge of CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.) is a plus.
- Exposure to ISO/TS manufacturing environments.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
