**Job Title: Freelance PCB Design Engineer (4+ Layer PCBs & SMT Machines)**

**Location**: Kolkata 21 princep street

**Job Type**: Contract/Freelance

**Experience**: Minimum 3 years in PCB design (4-layer and above) & SMT Machines

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work with **Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad, OrCAD, or similar PCB design software**.
- Develop schematics, component placement, and routing with a focus on signal integrity and EMI/EMC compliance.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to define PCB stack-up, trace routing, and impedance control.
- Optimize PCB layouts for **high-speed, RF, power, and mixed-signal circuits**.
- Generate **Gerber files, Bill of Materials (BOM), and fabrication/assembly documentation**.
- Conduct **design rule checks (DRC), layout reviews, and signal integrity analysis**.
- Work closely with manufacturers for **DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly)** considerations.
- Operate and optimize **SMT machines** for efficient PCB assembly and production.

**Requirements**:

- **Minimum 3 years** of experience in **multi-layer PCB design (4+ layers required).**:

- Strong proficiency in **Altium Designer, Eagle, OrCAD, KiCad, or similar**.
- Experience with **high-speed signal design, power electronics, RF circuits, and mixed-signal PCB designs**.
- Knowledge of **PCB fabrication and assembly processes**.
- Understanding of **EMI/EMC guidelines and signal integrity principles**.
- Experience with **schematic capture and PCB layout optimization**.
- Hands-on experience with **SMT machines and PCB assembly processes**.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for remote collaboration.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with **HDI (High-Density Interconnect) PCB design**.
- Familiarity with **flexible PCB and rigid-flex PCB designs**.
- Previous experience working with **automotive, industrial, or consumer electronics**.
