Urgent hiring Blood Bank Technician for reputed multispeciality hospital at Pune.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Blood Collection: Perform phlebotomy and collect blood from voluntary donors or patients as required, ensuring the process is safe, hygienic, and mínimally discomforting to the donor
- Blood Processing: Process collected blood and separate it into its components, such as red blood cells, plasma, and platelets, using centrifugation and other specialized equipment
- Blood Testing: Conduct pre-transfusion compatibility testing and other required blood tests to determine blood group, type, and any potential infectious diseases, ensuring the safety of the blood supply
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of blood inventory, testing results, donor information, and other relevant data
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Blood Storage and Inventory Management: Properly store blood products according to established guidelines, ensuring temperature monitoring and appropriate usage of blood supplies based on expiry dates
- Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect, calibrate, and maintain blood bank equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results and processes
- Quality Control: Perform quality control checks and participate in proficiency testing to verify the accuracy of laboratory results and maintain high-quality standards
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to urgent blood requests and emergencies promptly and efficiently, ensuring that the right blood type is available for patients in critical situations
- Donor Care: Provide care and support to blood donors during and after the donation process, ensuring their well-being and addressing any adverse reactions that may occur
- Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and regulatory guidelines, such as those from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other relevant bodies

Salary : Rs.20,000/- to Rs.30,000/- (Subject to Qualifications, Experience & Current CTC).

Notice Period : Immediate/ max 30 Days.

**Experience**:

- Blood Bank Technician with multispeciality hosp: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- Marathi fluently (preferred)
- Hindi & English fluently (preferred)

License/Certification:

- 12th+DMLT /B.Sc (MLT) / M.Sc (MLT) with Maharashtra Regi. (preferred)
