**Data Modeller and Data Architect**

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Data Modeler/Data Architect is responsible for defining, analyzing and reviewing the information architecture and data requirements to create a map of data assets that enable effective implementation of current or future legal, privacy, compliance, security, and Product/revenue requirements
- Creates and builds the information architecture of data assets and services to help manage data inventory, the ability to generate functional lineage, etc.
- Will lead the information architecture of Data Map, Data Asset inventory, and Logical Data Model of Twitter products and services

**Requirements**:

- Fluent in using an E-R Diagramming tool, such as Erwin, Embarcadero Studio (or similar)
- Expert level skills in creating the underlying logical Data Models for Data warehouse solutions having exposure to TOGAF, ERWIN, Star Schema or Snowflake Schema, and, Dimensional Modeling
- Hands-on experience with SQL RDBMS database engines such as Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, etc and also “NewSQL” databases - including Redshift, Big Query, Hive, Presto, etc.
- Work with Platform teams to influence the physical data models
- 3-5 years of experience in Data Management best practices, Data Integration, Data Rationalization, and Data Patterns.
- Experience with Metadata management that drives enterprise Data Map
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Hadoop and related technology stack Strong understanding of Hadoop design principals, cluster connectivity, security and the factors that affect distributed system performance review Hadoop log files
- File system management and ability to audit access logs and identify new data, usage patterns and identify new patterns and anomalies
