**Roles and responsibilities**:

- Plan startup policy initiatives in line with Startup India Ranking framework guidelines and strive to achieve one of the top positions in the country
- Propose and implement comprehensive policy reform to address the diverse challenges encountered throughout the entire lifecycle of startups. Preparation of new StartUP Policy or upgradation of existing policies as desired by Government and preparation of respective Government Orders in detail along with modifications/ amendments required from time to time
- Assist Nodal Agency in its efforts to achieve the goals defined in the Startup Policy 2020 and to implement the policy initiatives to strengthen the Startup ecosystem in the state
- Regular monitoring of outcomes & conduct meetings of the Startup Evaluation Committee for vetting of incubator and startup proposals
Conduct startup events and outreach programs across regions to spread awareness about entrepreneurship and innovation among youth.
- Assist the nodal agency in achieving the goal of setting up 100 incubators in the state
Work with MSME department to establish incubators in each of the identified clusters of ODOP products
- Assessment of incubator performance on a monthly basis; Act as a single point of contact for incubator queries and grievances; Assist the nodal agency in disbursement of financial incentives to the incubators
- Prepare Blueprint and Business Plan of U-Hub. The Blueprint and Business plan will include preparation of the vision, mission, annual goals and objectives of U-Hub, organization structure, governance framework, revenue model, cost estimates (CAPEX & OPEX), facilities and services offered for startups, domain-specific focus, roles and responsibilities of the board, functions of management teams and staffing requirements.

**Expected profile**:

- Full time & regular MBA / Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management / Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Full Time) from reputed institute.
- Min. 9 years of experience in areas related to start-up ecosystem development, incubator formation, business planning, operations management

**Skill set**:
