**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a diligent and organized Supervisor for our furniture manufacturing unit. The Entry Supervisor will oversee the production floor, ensuring that daily operations are running smoothly and efficiently. This role requires hands-on involvement in supervising workers, managing production schedules, and ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance standards are met.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Production Supervision**:
Oversee day-to-day production activities, ensuring that all scheduled furniture products are manufactured on time and meet quality standards.
- **Team Management**:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to company policies.
- **Process Monitoring**:
Ensure that manufacturing processes, from assembly to packaging, are carried out efficiently, and troubleshoot issues that may arise during production.
- **Quality Control**:
Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet the company's quality standards. Implement corrective actions where necessary to maintain quality.
- **Safety and Compliance**:
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations, maintaining a safe and hazard-free work environment for all staff.
- **Inventory Management**:
Monitor and manage the use of raw materials and components, coordinating with the procurement team to ensure materials are available for production needs.
- **Reporting**:
Maintain production records, including daily output, defects, and downtime reports. Submit regular reports to the production manager or plant manager.
- **Process Improvement**:
Identify and suggest improvements to production processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- **Equipment Maintenance**:
Ensure all equipment and machinery are functioning properly and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs or preventive maintenance as needed.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Educational Background**:
High school diploma or equivalent required. A bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing management, or a related field is a plus.
- **Experience**:
2-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in furniture production or a similar industry.
- **Technical Skills**:
Familiarity with furniture manufacturing processes, production equipment, and basic maintenance. Knowledge of flat-packing furniture production is an advantage.
- **Leadership Skills**:
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide production staff.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**:
Strong analytical skills to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions effectively.
- **Communication Skills**:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with team members, management, and other departments.
- **Attention to Detail**:
Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met and production efficiency is maintained.

**Work Environment**:
