Job Description for
Associate Legal Counsel, India

Position Summary
The Associate Legal Counsel will be based in Bangalore, India to provide legal support for Adobe’s operations across India. This role reports to the Managing Counsel, APAC.
**In addition, the role will involve**:
Monitoring legal and regulatory developments in India, ensuring Adobe’s agreements and practices remain compliant and up to date.
Assisting with privacy, data protection, and AI-related legal matters, including reviewing and negotiating relevant terms in customer agreements.
Supporting procurement and vendor contracting, in line with Adobe’s policies and legal requirements.
Contributing to global and regional legal initiatives and process improvement projects, working cross-functionally with internal partners across Legal, Sales, and other teams.
Performing other legal duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience
Legal practitioner in India with about 1 - 3 years of post-qualification experience.
Experience in technology licensing contracts, intellectual property law, and privacy is a plus. Alternatively, a strong interest and demonstrated proficiency in these areas.

Demonstrates strong legal drafting abilities and pays close attention to detail in contract negotiation.
Language Capabilities
Excellent written and oral English skills required.
