Job Title: LT Cable Jointer - Electrical Distribution Construction

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced LT Cable Jointer to join our electrical distribution construction team in Mumbai. The LT Cable Jointer will be responsible for carrying out jointing and termination work on low-tension underground cables, ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform jointing and termination work on LT underground cables (up to 1kV).
- Inspect and prepare cables and joints before installation.
- Conduct testing, fault finding, and repair of low-tension electrical cables.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company guidelines during all operations.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and cable layout diagrams.
- Use appropriate tools and materials to carry out cable jointing in a safe and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with site supervisors, electricians, and other team members to complete projects on time.
- Maintain detailed records of work completed, including reports on jointing activities and any issues encountered.
- Follow proper safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure safe working conditions.
- Report any faulty equipment or unsafe conditions to the site supervisor.

Qualifications:

- ITI certificate or relevant technical qualification in electrical work or cable jointing.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in LT cable jointing and terminations.
- Strong knowledge of LT cable types, jointing techniques, and materials.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical safety regulations and practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, drawings, and instructions.
- Skilled in using jointing tools and materials.
- Good problem-solving abilities, particularly in fault identification and repair.
- Physically fit, able to work in confined spaces, and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
