Job Description

Qualification: Minimum: B.Sc. (preferably in Environmental Science / Chemistry / Life Sciences) or Any Science Subject
- Assist in installation, operation, and maintenance of air quality monitoring instruments (e.g., PM10/PM2.5 samplers, gaseous pollutant analyzers).
- Collect ambient air samples from various locations as per the monitoring schedule.
- Record meteorological parameters such as wind speed, wind direction, temperature, and humidity.
- Maintain field logs and datasheets with accuracy and consistency.
- Ensure timely transportation of samples to the laboratory, if applicable.
- Support routine calibration and minor troubleshooting of field equipment under supervision.
- Coordinate field activities with local stakeholders, authorities, or institutions.
- Assist in transporting equipment and consumables to and from monitoring sites.
- Follow standard safety procedures during field visits.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of chemicals and filters.

Key Skills
- Basic understanding of environmental pollution and air quality monitoring.
- Willingness to travel and work in the field under varying weather conditions.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word).
