**Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
- Integrate and manage data from various sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and implement data models, schemas, and ETL processes.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improving merchandising strategies.
- Collaborate with merchandising teams to plan and execute effective product placement and inventory management strategies.
- Utilize data to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and reduce out-of-stock scenarios.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, inventory, and merchandising.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform merchandising decisions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data warehouse solutions with other business systems.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, and database management.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehouse tools (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
- Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data visualization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in the retail or e-commerce industry.
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and their data services.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
