Goyal Brothers Prakashan (GBP) is a renowned educational publishing house with a strong legacy in developing quality school books and learning materials. We are expanding our data-driven operations and are looking for an experienced and analytical **MIS Executive** to support management through insightful reporting and data visualization.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop, and maintain **interactive dashboards and reports** in **Power BI**.
- Write and optimize **SQL queries** for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Manage and organize data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Utilize **advanced Excel functions** (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, etc.) for report automation and analysis.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and performance metrics.
- Provide management with **data-driven insights and recommendations**.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business reporting needs.
- Ensure **data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality** across all systems.
- Continuously improve reporting processes through automation and innovation.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:
**Technical Proficiency**:

- Strong proficiency in **SQL** for data querying, manipulation, and database management.
- Expertise in **Power BI** for dashboard and report development.
- Advanced **Excel skills** (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, etc.).
- Experience with other BI tools.

**Analytical Skills**:

- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into meaningful insights and recommendations.

**General Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field**.
- **2-4 years of experience** in MIS reporting, data analytics, or business intelligence.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
