**Job Title**: TIG Welder (Tungsten Inert Gas Welder)

**Job Overview**: A TIG Welder is responsible for using the Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding process to join, repair, and fabricate metal components, ensuring high-quality, precise, and clean welds. This role typically involves working with stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals, and requires proficiency in handling various welding tools, safety equipment, and materials.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Welding and Fabrication**:

- Perform TIG welding on different metals (primarily stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel).
- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and ensuring they are properly aligned for welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or work orders to determine the appropriate welding process and material specifications.
- Set up and adjust TIG welding machines, selecting appropriate materials, settings, and equipment for the job.
- **Quality Control**:

- Inspect welded areas to ensure they meet the required specifications and standards.
- Conduct tests such as X-ray or ultrasonic testing to ensure the quality and integrity of welds.
- Ensure welds are free from defects such as cracks, porosity, or distortion.
- Maintain weld records and document any deviations from standards or procedures.
- **Safety and Maintenance**:

- Follow all safety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, masks, and helmets.
- Ensure that the work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Maintain and perform basic troubleshooting on welding equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations while performing welding tasks.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Provide feedback on the welding process, materials, and tools to improve efficiency and quality.
- Assist in the training or mentoring of junior welders or apprentices.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a TIG welder or in a similar welding role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and safety procedures.
- Proficiency in TIG welding techniques and equipment.
- Attention to detail, with the ability to ensure high-quality welds.
- Knowledge of different metals, alloys, and their characteristics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
