**Job Summary**:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day transportation, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods. This role involves coordinating with carriers, drivers, and warehouse staff to maintain smooth and timely delivery processes. The Logistics Coordinator will also monitor compliance with transportation regulations and work to optimize routes and delivery schedules.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Develop and oversee transportation policies, procedures, and programs to ensure safe and efficient transportation operations
- Manage and coordinate the transportation department’s daily activities, including scheduling, routing, and dispatching of vehicles and drivers
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations related to transportation, including driver qualification, vehicle maintenance, and hours of service
- Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings
- Manage relationships with transportation vendors and negotiate contracts and rates
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure transportation needs are met, including coordinating with warehouse and distribution teams to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Develop and maintain transportation performance metrics and reports, and use data to identify areas for improvement
- Ensure that all transportation-related documentation, such as bills of lading and delivery receipts, are accurate and complete
- Manage and develop transportation staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to transportation management

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in transportation coordination or logistics.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and industry best practices.
- Proficient in transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Knowledge in MS office kit
- Good knowledge about the local transporters and vendors also good knowledge about the transportation industry

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
