- ** Optimize database queries and ensure efficient use of resources.**

**Security and Access Control**:

- ** Manage user access and permissions.**

**Backup and Recovery**:

- ** Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity.**:

- ** Conduct regular data backups and perform recovery procedures as needed.**

**Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution**:

- ** Diagnose and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.**:
**Database Upgrades and Patch Management**:

- ** Plan and execute MySQL database upgrades.**:
**Documentation**:

- ** Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of database configurations and procedures.**:

- ** Develop and update disaster recovery plans.**

**Collaboration**:

- ** Collaborate with system administrators and other IT staff to ensure seamless integration with other systems.**:

- ** Work closely with development teams to support database requirements.**

**Qualifications**:

- ** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.**:

- ** Proven experience of atleast 2+ Years as a Database Administrator with a focus on MySQL.**:

- ** Strong understanding of database design principles and normalization.**:

- ** Proficient in MySQL database management and administration.**:

- ** Experience in performance tuning and optimization.**:

- ** Knowledge of database security best practices.**:

- ** Familiarity with backup and recovery processes.**:

- ** Ability to troubleshoot database-related issues.**:

- ** Excellent communication and collaboration skills.**:

- ** Relevant certifications (e.g. MySQL Database Administrator) are a plus.**

**Preferred Skills**:

- ** Experience with other relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle).**:

- ** Knowledge of cloud database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure Database for MySQL).**:

- ** Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages.**:
