IT Teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable **Information Technology Teacher** to join our team and inspire young minds from Grade 1 to Grade 10.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver engaging IT lessons aligned with the curriculum for students from Grade 1 to Grade 10.
- Teach programming languages including Java, Python, and HTML, and introduce students to concepts of Artificial Intelligence in an age-appropriate manner.
- Develop lesson plans, assignments, projects, and assessments that foster creativity and practical skills.
- Encourage hands-on learning through coding activities, projects, and computer-based exercises.
- Promote digital literacy and responsible use of technology among students.
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students to enhance their learning experience.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate technology in cross-curricular projects.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in IT education and emerging technologies.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development sessions.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. B.Ed. is an added advantage.
- 2-5 years of teaching experience, preferably in a school environment.
- Proficiency in Java, HTML, Python, and a foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence concepts.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
- Passion for teaching and the ability to engage and inspire students.
- Excellent classroom management and organizational abilities.
- Tech-savvy and capable of using digital tools and e-learning platforms effectively.
