**The Role**

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients - which means some of the biggest in the world.

There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Required Technical and Professional Experience
- 6 + years of experience in SQL Database admin.
- Experience in Installing, Configuring and managing SQL Services 2022\2019\2017\ 2016 and create Databases, Setup\Troubleshoot high availability (HA) features like Always On (AG).
- Support SQL Databases in Server 2022\2019\2017\2016\2014\2008 in multi node cluster.
- Hands on experience in Setting up DR by using Always On \ Replication\ Log shipping and setting up alerts.
- Database monitoring, Database backup and restore, Performance and Tuning of the Database
- Work with Vendor for providing SSRS\SSIS solution on HA and standalone environment.
- Experience in managing File Groups, Jobs and DTS Package Manage\Create Logins, Users and Roles in context of SQL Server security.
- Good knowledge on Database patching and upgrade and setting up of SQL Mail services of SQL Server and SQL Server Agent.
- Experience with PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, and Trigger tuning.
- Good knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server including Always On and clustering.
- **Experience working with Microsoft Azure, SQL 2022/2019/2016.**:
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other highly technical, scientific discipline.
- Expertise in SQL Database Management on Windows environment
- Experience in Incident, Problem and Change Management
- Good communication skills and customer management
- Knowledge in Automation
- Ability to research and identify tools that can be beneficial to the team in improving service availability or proactive alerting.
- **Knowledge on PowerShell and T-SQL Scripts.**:
