**Job Description**:
SQL DBA:
Technical and Professional Requirements:

- Good knowledge of SQL Database Architecture
- Manage database objects like tablespace, user, table, Index, roles, privileges, profiles, DB Links, materialized views, partitioning, synonyms, sequences, views and indexes and other database objects etc
- User management, create user, privileges and roles as required
- Experience with Traditional exports/imports and Data pump.
- Experience with backup and recovery
- Installation, configuration and administration of SQL DB’s.
- Create physical/logical standby database and performing switch-over and fail-over
- Demonstrated ability to implement High Availability, Workload Management and Fail Over, Disaster recovery
- Expertise in debugging and analytical skills with solid grasp of system development methodologies, techniques and tool.
- Perform regular health check of all production databases at instance level and take appropriate action in case of any threshold value is reached.
- Monitor and tune the performance of SQL/Oracle database ongoing basis
