**Patient Counsellor**

Longevity Labs (truGeny) is seeking a skilled patient health counselor to help provide

direction and support to all our patients. You will actively help patients learn better about

their current health status and guide them through various health situations. Your duties

will also include listening to clients, asking necessary questions, and developing effective

strategies to improve their lives.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to

coordinate with support networks, government resources, and community resources that

professional, with outstanding people skills

**Responsibilities**:

- Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to, patient phone screenings, and

scheduling appointments. The Patient Counsellor will be responsible for educating

the patient on procedures through Zoom or in-office consultations
- Patient enrolment and support patients with the documentation process (wherever

applicable)
- Scheduling home visits to patient's home as per the approved process flow wherever

applicable
- Provide acute and chronic illness-related health care information to patients (Onsite &
Tele Consultation)
- Documents all patient health information, such as medical history, examination

findings, and investigation results, in the electronic medical record, in a timely and

accurate manner
- Coordinate and implement specialist referral recommendations as appropriate and

necessary
- Participates in health education for all patients, through individual patient counselling

and group health talks
- Understand patients' queries and reply with appropriate medical opinion in a
- Take patients calls and reply with appropriate opinion in a professional manner, and

try to counsel patient for treatment.
- Counsel the patients on call and physically for various treatments, costs, diagnostics,

therapies etc.
- Follow up with the already connected patients on a regular basis so as to convince for

further engagement.
- Talk to the Doctor/Coordinator and gather information about treatment offered, and

collate information to be used for patient communication.
- Report the status of all the patients connected, actions taken, to the management on

a daily basis for all teams.
- Participate in health education for all patients, through individual patient counselling

and group health talks
- Work with the physician to design a partnership for long-term health care with every

patient
- Participate in all Clinic Practice Meetings, external clinic activities, and meetings/

committees as needed

**Requirements**:

- UG: MBBS / B.Sc in Nursing Psychology with MSc in Clinical Psychology
- Diploma in psychology, social work, or counselling.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional counsellor.
- Superb verbal and written communication skills.
- Aptitude to empathize with clients and help them open up.
- Good time management skills.
- Proven experience in developing effective treatment plans

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Regular / Permanent, Contractual / Temporary, Freelance

**Salary**: ₹10,874.24 - ₹34,839.32 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
