**Key Responsibilities**:
Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed

Interview vendors and visit suppliers’ plants and distribution centers to examine and learn about products along with related Leed information, services, and prices.

Attend meetings, trade shows, and conferences to learn about new industry trends and make contacts with suppliers

Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other information to determine reasonable prices and price trends and present it to the management for necessary approval

Negotiate contracts on behalf of their organization along with Manager - Purchase or Director - Purchase

Evaluate and monitor contracts to be sure that vendors and supplies comply with the terms and conditions of the contract and to determine the need for changes

Co-ordinate with project staff and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services if any and determine corrective action

Maintain and review records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories.

Monitor and evaluate vendor / supplier performance on a periodic basis.

Ensure that the supplier can deliver the desired goods or services on time, in the correct quantities, and without sacrificing quality.

Checking of indent received from project team and direct the purchase team members to procure materials from shortlisted vendors

Manage the PO issuing and tracking the material delivery process

Updating the procurement schedule / tracker to various projects on daily & weekly basis.

Arranging samples and Shop Drawing for all the ongoing projects as per BOQ or site requirement.

Co-ordination and ensure cordial relationship between purchase team, projects, stores & accounts.

New product and vendor development across all the regions

Manage the daily service logistics.

Adhere to ISO standard requirements.

Any other duties as assigned

**Education**:
Any Graduate

Preferred any certificate or Diploma in Materials Management

**Experience**:
Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar field

**Other Traits**:
Highly energetic, active & hands-on

Must be willing to travel
