QAD is looking for a dynamic, operationally-driven HR professional passionate for the position of a
** People Services Partner **about playing a key role in delivering an exceptional employee experience to our QAD employees around the globe. The right individual wants to play a role in fostering employee engagement and a great workplace experience through hands-on support for managers and employees in their region.

In this role, you will be focused on enhancing people manager skills, employee engagement, and the overall employee experience. Through investigation, analysis, advice, and consultation, you will be managing and troubleshooting complex HR, management, and employee situations that go beyond what can be handled through our core HR service desk and self-help platforms. In addition, you will be directly involved in the development and implementation of HR programs/initiatives that are aimed at increasing employee satisfaction and retention in the region tied to the business-driven organizational strategies and the global strategies of the Centers of Expertise.

As the People Services Partner works regionally, you can expect to be, or become, an expert on the local labor laws and compliance concerns of a range of countries in your region. You will put together the support required from local experts (e.g. legal advisors, etc) to address issues that come your way. Working within a strong team of regional People Services Partners, HR Shared Services Representatives, and Coordinators, you will also exchange ideas and knowledge on a regular basis to improve approaches and solve problems. As a team, you will have an opportunity to develop systemic solutions and drive employee engagement strategies tailored to your region and be a voice for your region into Business HR, the COEs, and the HR Leadership Team.

**What You'll Do**:

- Be the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding employee relations and day-to-day people management matters in your assigned countries.
- Support employees and managers with complex issue resolution throughout the employee life cycle (e.g., hiring, onboarding/offboarding, life and work events, local audits, government reporting, policy, and compliance).
- Review, listen and drive action-based response and solutions based on employee feedback, regional leadership needs, and company priorities.
- Work with the HR team to help develop and support employee engagement and retention initiatives. Work may include interviews with employees and managers and/or focus-group facilitation.
- Provide input and hands-on support for communication and training initiatives/programs that require execution within the region. Depending on interest and proficiency, you may also act as a trainer for people management and/or employee engagement topics in your region.
- Work with managers below Director level to advise and support performance management and performance improvement action.
- Conduct issue investigations as required and per local labor law expectations.
- Conduct exit interviews for terminated employees and provide feedback to Business HR and departmental management regarding trends/issues revealed in exit interviews.
- Partner with Business HR and the COEs to ensure global strategies include the perspective of your countries and the region as they are designed.
- Stay current on industry trends and direction; share and recommend new or innovative strategies to support operational and strategic initiatives.

**What You'll Need**:

- Associates / 2 year degree or specialized professional training in customer support, human resources management, training with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent strongly preferred
- 5+ years of experience in an HR generalist and/or employee relations management role, preferably in a high tech environment
- 3+ years of experience working with global teams and driving organizational change initiatives.
- Highly emotionally intelligent with exceptional interpersonal skills - build relationships and trust easily at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to proactively identify and solve problems using carefully planned investigation and research, data analysis, and structured problem-solving methods.
- Ability to manage and administer a broad range of tasks, including resolving complaints, counseling managers and employees on the interpretation of policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of human resources management for your local countries/region.
- Highly proficient in managing emotions and difficult situations, always leveraging a balance of empathy and objectivity.
- Ability to meet regular deadlines and handle stressful situations with flexibility.
- Know how to research applicable employment and labor laws and government compliance requirements and readily access external experts as needed.
