Nursing Aide

**Role Summary**: The Nursing Aide will support the nursing staff and healthcare team in providing direct patient care and maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients, particularly those undergoing IVF treatment. This role is vital for assisting in day-to-day operations and providing compassionate support to patients in the fertility unit.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist nursing staff in patient care activities, such as bathing, feeding, and mobilizing patients.
- Support patients undergoing IVF treatments by ensuring comfort and understanding specific IVF care protocols.
- Prepare and organize patient rooms, ensuring they are clean, comfortable, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Transport patients to various departments within the hospital as needed, especially for IVF consultations and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining a sterile and safe environment, especially in areas where IVF procedures are conducted.
- Record and report observations of patient conditions to the nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients, offering compassion and sensitivity, particularly for those undergoing fertility treatments.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in patient care is an advantage.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nursing Aide, preferably in an IVF or fertility clinic.
- Basic knowledge of patient care protocols and an understanding of IVF patient needs.
- Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions from nursing staff and doctors.
**Skills Required**:
- Compassionate and patient-focused, with sensitivity to IVF patient needs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to assist in patient mobility and handle long shifts.
- Basic knowledge of hygiene practices, infection control, and maintaining a sterile environment.
