Experience : 2+ years Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Functional QA professional to join our team. As a Functional QA, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. You will work closely with the development team to understand project requirements, create test plans, and execute various testing activities. Your expertise in functional testing methodologies and tools will be crucial in identifying and reporting any defects or issues to improve the overall quality of our software. Responsibilities:Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional specifications and user stories.Execute functional testing activities, including but not limited to test case creation, test execution, and defect tracking.Identify, analyze, and report software defects, inconsistencies, and issues using appropriate bug tracking tools.Work closely with the development team to reproduce and debug reported issues and provide detailed information for resolution.Perform regression testing to ensure that resolved defects do not introduce new problems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate software functionality and ensure smooth integration across different modules or components.Participate in design and code reviews to provide insights from a testing perspective and ensure adherence to best practices.Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and testing methodologies to continuously improve the quality assurance process.Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks, tools, and scripts to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience as a Functional QA or in a similar role, preferably in an agile software development environment.Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, with a focus on functional testing.Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional specifications.Proficiency in using bug tracking tools and test management systems.Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Cucumber) is a plus.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate testing processes and results.Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.Understanding of agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with related tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
