**Job Description: Data Entry Operator**

**Position Summary**: A Data Entry Operator is responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining data in computer systems and databases. The role requires a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle large volumes of information efficiently. Data entry operators play a critical role in ensuring that data is correctly recorded and easily accessible for future reference.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Input data from various sources into computer systems, spreadsheets, or databases.
- Verify the accuracy of data entered and correct any discrepancies or errors.
- Update and maintain accurate and up-to-date data records.
- Process and organize documents, files, and records to ensure easy access and retrieval.
- Perform regular data backups to secure company information.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or office administration is a plus.
- Proven experience in data entry or administrative support roles.
- Proficiency in using data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Attention to detail and ability to spot errors in data.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

**Working Conditions**:
