Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough examinations on patients to diagnose and manage a variety of illnesses and injuries.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to obtain information on medical condition and determine diagnosis.
- Prescribe and administer treatments, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
- Provide advice on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare to patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to plan, implement, or assess patient treatment plans.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including histories, reports, and examination results.
- Monitor patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluate treatments as necessary.
- Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients and family members.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in medical technology and research.

Qualifications:

- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Valid license to practice medicine.
- Board certified or eligible in general medicine.
- Proven experience as a General Physician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and patient care management.
- Excellent decision-making skills and communication ability, enabling effective dialogue with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate and approachable with a patient-focused attitude.
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Working Conditions:

- This position may require flexible working hours, including some nights and weekends.
- The General Physician will work in various settings, including offices, clinics, hospitals, and patient homes.
- Physical requirements include the ability to stand or sit for extended periods, perform examinations, and potentially respond to emergency situations.
