Key Responsibilities:

- Create detailed 2D models of furniture products, including dimensions, materials, and finishes, using AutoCAD software.
- Develop technical drawings and specifications that accurately reflect the design intent and enable production of the products.
- Collaborate with product development teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet customer needs.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on design concepts, materials, and finishes.
- Revise and modify designs to meet changing customer requirements, manufacturing constraints, or cost targets.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and design guidelines, as well as industry codes and regulations.
- Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and materials in the furniture industry.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in AutoCAD design for furniture products.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD software, including 2D and 3D modeling and drafting.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes commonly used in the furniture industry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret design intent and technical specifications.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate design ideas effectively.
- Knowledge of other design software, such as SolidWorks or SketchUp, is a plus.
