**What You'll Be Doing**:
As a Cloud Data Architect at SAT, you'll be immersed in diverse projects across different development stages, from pre-sales/scoping and discovery to architecting robust solutions. Your role extends to overseeing and executing projects in data engineering, including greenfield data warehouse implementations, database re-platforming, and data migrations in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Prototyping Proof of Concepts for customer feedback.
- Quality-reviewing solutions delivered by project engineers.
- Providing hands-on technical mentoring and leadership, especially with niche architectural patterns.
- Maintaining transparent communication channels with clients to update on progress, gather feedback, and assess opportunities.
- Assisting Project Managers and Clients in making impactful decisions to enhance delivery quality and time-to-market.
- Researching and developing new processes and patterns to improve future project delivery quality and efficiency.
- Staying abreast of the latest developments in data products, services, and patterns.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering.
- Must have Google professional certificates.
- Minimum of 10 years in data engineering and architecture, emphasizing cloud-based environments.
- Expertise in designing and deploying scalable, reliable, and enterprise-grade data solutions.
- Proficiency in languages like Spark, SQL, Python, or Java for data processing.
- Leadership experience in intricate, long-term customer projects within a high-growth organization.
- Ability to strategize, design, and architect scalable data solutions on cloud-based systems.
- Proficient in data pipeline design, documentation, and management.
- Deep understanding of various databases, including analytical, relational, and NoSQL.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies, industry trends, and best practices in data architecture and cloud computing.
- Experience with streaming data technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, Google Cloud Pub/Sub, Amazon Kinesis).
- Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform, especially serverless (Cloud Functions) and platforms (Dataflow, BigQuery, DataProc, DataForm).

**Bonus Qualifications**:

- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Experience with Machine Learning, AI, and Generative AI.
- Familiarity with cloud data offerings and solutions (Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS).
