**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and maintain standard costing for products and processes.
- Analyze cost variances between actual and standard costs and identify the root causes.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reporting and financial closing activities.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and inventory teams to gather cost-related data.
- Support the preparation of BOM (Bill of Materials) and cost sheets for new and existing products.
- Review inventory movements and conduct physical verification in coordination with stores.
- Monitor overheads and assist in budgeting and cost control measures.
- Generate cost-related MIS reports for management review.
- Assist in pricing decisions and margin analysis.

**Key Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter / CMA Inter is a plus).
- 2 years of hands-on experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing setup.
- Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, SAP, or ERP systems preferred).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.

**Preferred Skills (Good to Have)**:

- Experience in handling product costing and overhead allocation.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and inventory management.
- Knowledge of GST, taxation, and compliance is an advantage.
