Costing & Engineering Stores Executive (with Preventive Maintenance)

Responsibilities; -

· Maintain and update the inventory of all engineering spares, tools, and consumables.

· Track usage and costs of spare parts used for repairs and preventive maintenance.

· Analyse and report monthly/Weekly cost trends for maintenance and spare parts.

· Assist in preparation of maintenance budgets and control costs against planned budgets.

· Maintain vendor price records and monitor market price trends for commonly used items.

· Generate MIS reports on consumption, cost variance, and stock aging.

· Receive, inspect, and store engineering goods and materials as per SOP.

· Ensure minimum stock levels (reorder levels) and initiate procurement requests in time.

· Tag and catalog critical spare parts and equipment for traceability.

· Maintain accurate documentation related to goods receipts, issue slips, and stock registers.

· Coordinate with the maintenance team to align spare availability with maintenance schedules.

· Ensure critical spares are in stock before planned preventive maintenance (PM) activities.

· Support in updating maintenance records, checklists, and equipment history cards.

· Assist in generating PM schedules and follow-up with relevant departments for execution.

· Strong knowledge of engineering spare parts and equipment (mechanical/electrical/instrumentation).

· Record daily, weekly, and monthly consumption of all utilities (electricity, water, gas, steam, compressed air, etc.).

· Monitor trends and deviations in utility consumption.

· Prepare detailed utility reports (daily/monthly) with insights into consumption trends and efficiency.

· Analyse data to identify areas of wastage or overconsumption.

· Assist in benchmarking utility KPIs against industry standards.

· Understanding of preventive maintenance planning and asset management.

· Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.), and inventory software.

· Strong analytical and costing skills.

· Good organizational and communication skills.

· Attention to accuracy and ability to work under minimal supervision.

Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical/related field.

1 -3 years of experience in engineering store management with costing and maintenance exposure.

Knowledge of 5S, ISO standards, and safety procedures related to stores and maintenance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300, ₹400,000.00 per year
