**About myNachiketa**

MyNachiketa Foundation is inspired by Nachiketa, a character in the Upanishads, who asks philosophical questions to Yama in his childhood. We seek to bring philosophical ideas and concepts in Hinduism to children in creative ways. We are designing innovative products including books, games, workshops, etc. to bring this knowledge to kids. Our method is to encourage kids to question and think of various different ways of arriving at answers, rather than developing a regimented thought process. Our goal is to reach every kid globally with this knowledge, help them critically reason, and develop their own understanding based on exposure to various schools of Indian philosophy.

**Role: Sales and Operation Intern**

We are developing a number of products related to Indian philosophy based on the knowledge encapsulated in the ancient Indian scriptures like the Gita, Vedas & Upanishads. One of our major strategies is to create engaging books for children based on our knowledge base. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has business acumen and can work like an entrepreneur and sell myNachiketa products. Our products are for children from 3 to 15 years of age.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be available at the stall and sell myNachiketa books.
- Properly set up a stall with proper display.
- Spend at least 8 hrs each day at the fair selling a targeted number of books to customers.
- Develop and execute a sales plan to meet or exceed sales goals for our books.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Track and report on daily sales activity and progress toward sales goals.
- Share frequent insights received from the customers to the team.

**Requirement**:

- Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Good people management skills
- Great retail selling skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Should have a business mindset
- Analytical skills is a must

Location: Delhi - NCR

**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Travel requirement:

- Up to 20% travel

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Delhi, Delhi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)
