**Roles and Responsibilities**

Skills and Requirements: Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables.

SQL development of functions and stored procedures using SQL Server

Strong knowledge of SQL. Experience in writing complex queries in SQL.

Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
- Suggest new queries. Advanced knowledge of database procedures and Microsoft SQL Server concepts

You must have extensive knowledge of database architectures
- SQL, relational databases, and data modelling.

Run profiling tools to identify slow or resource-intensive SQLs and provide solutions.

Develop conceptual, logical & physical data model designs with appropriate structure and relationships for optimal performance

Performance tuning especially tuning complex queries, procedure and indexing strategies

Designing and implementing new features in a highly scalable and maintainable manner

Ensure that significant database design decisions are communicated, validated, and adhered to.

Ensure the long-term reliability, scalability and maintainability of systems.
