Required Assistant Professor for Psychology

Maharana Pratap Group of Institutions is looking for a well-organized, trustworthy **Assistant Professor/Associate Professor for Psychology **with exceptional **Spoken English**.
The job of an assistant professor of psychology is associated with the teaching of psychological studies. As an assistant psychology professor, you will be involved in various functions, including teaching, psychological research projects, and curriculum development. Other duties include instructing students on how to use the different research methods in psychological studies, deriving new methods of psychological research and how it can be applied in psychology, and assisting in assessing student performance. An assistant psychology professor is also responsible for facilitating discussions and lectures in psychology classes.
**ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF PSYCHOLOGY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage students tests, grade papers and assign materials.
- Facilitate lectures and discussions in various psychology and sociology classes.
- Create companion website for classes with PowerPoint presentations, online assignments, and lecture notes.
- Prepare the course outlines and syllabus for the courses updating information, adjusting requirements and changing course materials as needed.
- Maintain student progress throughout semester.
- Organize and coordinate seminar production and content.
- Create PowerPoint presentations for practical methods in dealing with vary exceptional abilities.
- Experiment with different surface chemistry to improve quality of yields -participate in poster session and presentation to faculty and graduate students.
- Direct all administrative aspects of Psy.D.
- Lecture and laboratory intro to video production concepts and non-linear editing.
**Assistant Professor Requirements**:
- ABD or MA/MS in Psychology, Behavioral Health or related field will be considered.
- Doctoral degree in psychology (preferable).
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and oral and written communication skills.
- Teaching experience in a university setting.
- Published works would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical, observational, and problem-solving skills.
- A good record of attending conferences and academic events.
- Excellent research, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for teaching and engaging with students.
- Patience, understanding, and willingness to help.
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience at any academic level.
- Background in clinical or counseling psychology.
**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
