JOB PURPOSE:
The Product Supply Supervisor Role is aligned with deployment of Lifecycle Cost Management (LCM). LCM is Caterpillar’s total cost of supply (TCoS) optimization process, seeking to optimize Caterpillar’s $20B in TCoS spend, to meet product group’s targets.

JOB DUTIES:
Major Role: To lead a team responsible for Lifecycle Cost Management program execution, process governance, data governance and development of savings and reporting capabilities. Examine of part cost data throughout the lifecycle of part, outliers, opportunities, and governance is critical to support design, production, and non-current cost process.

Demonstrates knowledge and ability to handle basic issues independently

Help project team or others in the work group while learning and assisting with projects.

Reporting to Procurement Lifecycle Cost Manager

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
Previous data analytics and purchasing experience required

Bachelor’s degree - or equivalent experience required

Minimum of 6 years job related experience

Well-developed communication and negotiation skills

Project management (desired)

Specialized training/certification in visualization (desired)

Relocation is available for this position.
