**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled AV Technician to join our team and provide support in setting up,

operating, and maintaining audio-visual equipment for various events, presentations, and

excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality audio and visual

experiences. This role requires attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the

ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, set up, and configure audio-visual equipment including projectors, screens,

microphones, speakers, video conferencing systems, and other related peripherals.
- Operate and maintain AV systems during events, ensuring optimal performance and

troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with event organizers, presenters, and other staff to understand AV

requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on AV equipment to ensure functionality and longevity.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on the operation of AV equipment.
- Assist in the planning and execution of large-scale AV projects and installations.
- Collaborate with other departments such as IT, facilities, and event planning to coordinate
- AV requirements for organization-wide events and initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as an AV Technician or similar role, with a strong understanding of audio-visual equipment and systems.
- Proficiency in the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of AV equipment including projectors, sound systems, video conferencing systems, and related peripherals.
- Familiarity with industry-standard AV software and tools.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support events as needed.
- Physical ability to lift and transport heavy AV equipment as required.

**Education**:

- High school, ITI or equivalent required.
- Additional technical certifications or vocational training in audio-visual technology preferred.
