The STP Operator is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of sewage treatment plants, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards. They oversee the entire treatment process, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1)** Operate and control sewage treatment equipment, including pumps, valves, motors, blowers, and chemical dosing systems to ensure the effective treatment of wastewater.

**2)** Continuously monitor the performance of the sewage treatment processes, including biological, chemical, and physical treatment, and adjust parameters as needed to maintain optimal efficiency.

**3)** Collect wastewater samples, conduct laboratory tests, and analyze results to assess the effectiveness of the treatment process and ensure compliance with discharge standards.

**4)**Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, process disruptions, and system failures to minimize downtime and maintain efficient operation.

**5)**Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubrication, and equipment inspections, and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and upgrades as needed.

**6)**Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed to protect the health and safety of plant personnel, and report any safety concerns or incidents.

**7)**Maintain accurate records of plant operations, equipment maintenance, and compliance data for regulatory reporting and future reference.

**8)**Stay informed about environmental regulations, permits, and compliance requirements, and ensure the plant operates within these guidelines.

**9)** Implement best practices to minimize the environmental impact of sewage treatment operations, including the responsible disposal of waste by-products.

**10)**Provide training and guidance to plant staff, as well as participating in professional development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies
