As a cafe cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the cafe.

**Responsibilities**:
Cash Handling:
Accurately handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.

Ensure that cash registers are balanced at the end of each shift.

Provide customers with accurate change.

Customer Service:
Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.

Assist customers with menu choices and provide information about cafe offerings.

Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional manner.

Ensure a positive and memorable experience for customers.

Order Processing:
Ring up customer orders accurately using the cafe's POS (Point of Sale) system.

Ensure that orders are processed promptly and efficiently.

Double-check orders for accuracy before handing them to customers.

Maintaining Cleanliness:
Keep the cashier area clean and organized.

Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of the cafe, including clearing tables and disposing of trash.

Product Knowledge:
Stay informed about the cafe's menu items, including ingredients and specials.

Provide recommendations to customers based on their preferences.

Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other cafe staff members, including baristas and kitchen staff.

Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.

Compliance:
Adhere to all cash handling and financial procedures.

Follow health and safety guidelines and food safety regulations.

Opening and Closing Duties:
Assist with opening and closing tasks, such as setting up registers, counting money, and securing the premises.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred.

Strong mathematical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.

Working Conditions:
The job involves standing for extended periods, occasional lifting of items, and working in a busy cafe environment.

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
