**The Role**:
If you are an experienced IT professional who has gained valuable experience in the PGS (Indirect Purchases) MM ERP area, both in ERP design and business process and looking for your next challenge then this role is ideal for you. You’ll have the opportunity to further develop your stakeholder mgt skills, support business value delivery, guard the design and work on the Downstream S4 journey.

In this role you will join our Chemicals Portfolio ERP team (6 members) who support the Global Chemicals SAP system which enables the Chemicals & Products business, one of the key growth areas of Shell. We are a friendly collaborative and supportive bunch and together we get the job done. We value transparency, pragmatism, personal growth and positive feedback. We work closely with business process SMEs, Project Managers, ITD Managers and ID engineering to help delivery value for the Chemicals and Products business.

**What’s the role?**

As a portfolio SME you are accountable, together with your natural team(s), to manage all Chemicals GSAP demand from the contracting & procurement space, provide input to investment proposals, estimations, resource management and validating and approving functional system designs as the Design Authority for your space. On a wider level you will have an opportunity to provide input to the DS S4HANA roadmap and work with SOM, IT engineering, IT Ecosystem and the team to further improve the value delivery to the Chemicals and Products business.

**Key responsibilities are**:

- This role must drive and assure seamless value demand to delivery of changes (project and enhancements) in the PGS (Indirect Purchases) space.
- Work with IDE to prioritize and adjust resources, activities, and schedules across the portfolio to balance risk and effort between strategic business change and ongoing operations.
- Manage stakeholders: DPF IDTMs, COB IDTMs, DSOE, Process Architects, IDE, APD, S4 COE.
- Provide input to investment proposals, estimations and resource management for demand.
- Act as the design authority for the PGS (Indirect Purchases) CHGSAP functional space.
- Validating and approving system designs as the Design Authority for the PGS (Indirect Purchases) space
- L3 support to SOM in IT Integrated Support model.
- Play an active role in the PGS (Indirect Purchases) natural teams (Bus, PI, ITM, PD, SOM, IDE) to meet business goals.

**What we are looking for?**
- Typical Experience: 6-10 year of total experience with SAP ECC and Material Mgt (Indirect Purchasing, integrations) and sound understanding of the business processes to understand and prioritize strategic business requirements.
- You have a track record of effectively building and sustaining relationships with a network of business and x-functional IT stakeholders
- Ability to work through complexity and across organizational boundaries to broker agreements and bring together the right capabilities at the right time
- Ability to actively participate in high performing IT natural teams focused around driving greater business value
- Resilience, courage and the willingness to challenge and manage business expectations
- Able to thrive in a complex environment with ambiguous information with a holistic perspective.
- You are self-sufficient, Results-oriented, pragmatic, with a proven ability to master the complexity of interactions, demonstrating strong communication skills, among IT, digital and business stakeholders
- Experience with SAP interfaces and specifically knowledge of ARIBA integration and processes are considered a plus.
