**Shipping Manager Job Description**:
We are seeking a highly organized shipping manager to oversee our company's shipping operations. You will be processing shipment orders, monitoring the packaging and labeling of completed orders, and evaluating the performance of carriers and shipment department employees.

To ensure success as a shipping manager, you should exhibit extensive knowledge of logistics and demonstrable experience in a similar role. A first-class shipping manager will be someone whose shipping expertise translates into smooth and cost-effective shipping services.

**Shipping Manager Responsibilities**:

- Negotiating the price of shipment transportation with carriers.
- Keeping shipping operations within budget without compromising speed or efficiency.
- Processing shipment documentation and inspecting completed orders.
- Creating and implementing shipping policies and procedures.
- Hiring, training, and supervising shipping employees.
- Acting as a liaison between management, carriers, and shipping customers.
- Collaborating with internal departments to optimize the flow of orders from preparation to shipment.
- Documenting processes and reporting to management as required.
- Evaluating carrier performance and resolving issues with orders and logistics.
- Complying to shipping industry regulations and company policies

**Shipping Manager Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or similar preferred.
- More than five years' experience in the shipping industry.
- Experience: 8-10yrs as shipping manager in garments export house
- Proficiency in electronic shipping software, such as ShippingEasy and ShipStation.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics and shipping documentation.
- Extensive budgeting and reporting experience.
- Knowledge of shipping industry regulations.
- Advanced analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: Up to ₹900,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Jaipur, Rajasthan: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (required)

**Experience**:

- Shipping Manager in Garments Export House: 8 years (required)
