- Sound knowledge of Linux internal or any other operating system
- knowledge of Broadcom/Marvell ASIC is plus.
- Very good command over C/C++ and operating system
- Ability to think out-of-the-box and innovate with available

software testing tools and libraries
- Ability to work in a team environment, with a hands-on,

proactive attitude
- Good written and verbal communication skills

**- Education**: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer

Science/Engineering or equivalent

protocols or on ASIC for networking protocols.

**Layer 2 Protocols**: VLAN, STP, MSTP, PVSTP, DHL

**Layer 3**: IPv4, TCP/UDP, ICMP, IPV6, DHCP, ARP, Proxy ARP

**Routing Protocols**: OSPF, ISIS, BGP, RIP, IPv6 NDP, BGP VPNv6,

AIGP

**Multicast**: PIM, MLD snooping,IGMP

**QoS**: ACL, TCAM Architecture, IPCL / IFP, Rate Limiter / Policer,

Shaper, Queue management, Buffer management, Strict Priority

(SP)/WRR scheduler, WRED, DHCP fingerprinting

**Tunneling protocols**: VXLAN, SPB, L2GRE, MPLS, PBB, L3 VPN
- Exposure to Dockers/Containers is a plus
- Exposure to SONIC is a plus
