Why the Role Is Important: Our Scrum Master/Agile Project Managers are fundamental to ensuring the digital technology and related services that NTT DATA builds for our clients are valuable, intuitive, and impactful. The work of Scrum Master/Agile Project Managers provides our clients and team with support, leadership, and direction to make sure projects are executed well and to deliver the engagement as promised. Once You Are Here, You Will: - Facilitate sprint planning, sprint reviews, scrum ceremonies, and work with Product Owner (PO) and team to execute backlog to satisfy project requirements - Mentor team and project partners in agile standard methodologies - Manage agile toolsets, project support, and priority gathering - Provide and utilize relevant metrics to gauge team progress with a continual focus on improvement (burndown, burnup, predictability, etc.) - Support the triage and resolution of critical issues - Prepare and deliver effective communications (both oral and written) regarding progress and status for both internal and client teams - Effectively and efficiently track, mitigate/resolve issues, risks and blockers - Participate in quarterly Program Increment planning sessions - Ensure cross-team coordination - Participate/facilitate scrum of scrums Required Qualifications: - 8 years of experience as a Scrum Master - 5 years of experience in Agile Project Management - Minimum 3 years of experience in full software development life cycle - Holds 2 of the following current certifications: - PMI-ACP - PMP - CSM - PSM - Certified Scrum Professional - SAFe Scrum Master - SAFe Advanced Scrum Master - SAFe Release Train Engineer - SAFe Agilist - Demonstrated track record of successful ability to manage large and complex projects or engagements - Ability to help teams write user stories/features, identify dependencies, testing, and design optimal solutions - Flexibility to work with teams, individuals and executives and willingness to help with a wide variety of work products and people - Ability to establish immediate credibility with business stakeholders, build consensus, and achieve goals through influence - Excellent interpersonal/communication skills Once You Are Here, You Will: - Facilitate sprint planning, sprint reviews, scrum ceremonies, and work with Product Owner (PO) and team to execute backlog to satisfy project requirements - Mentor team and project partners in agile standard methodologies - Manage agile toolsets, project support, and priority gathering - Provide and utilize relevant metrics to gauge team progress with a continual focus on improvement (burndown, burnup, predictability, etc.) - Support the triage and resolution of critical issues - Prepare and deliver effective communications (both oral and written) regarding progress and status for both internal and client teams - Effectively and efficiently track, mitigate/resolve issues, risks and blockers - Participate in quarterly Program Increment planning sessions - Ensure cross-team coordination - Participate/facilitate scrum of scrums Preferred: - Experience with GenAI or AgentForce - Experience with GUS, JIRA and Confluence preferred - Experience as a Scrum Master in a SAFe environment Ideal Mindset: - Focus.
