**Lead-Subject Mater **Expert Mechanical**

**Job Location: Chennai, INDIA.**

**Key Position Capabilities**:
**L&T EduTech is seeking a Lead Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Mechanical Engineering to be part of our dynamic Operation to support. As a key member of the College Connect team, the Lead Mechanical Engineering SME will provide expert-level mechanical design guidance and engineering capabilities, serve as a technical mentor, and work closely with Product Managers on a various course development. This senior-level position works on high-visibility, mission-critical aspects of new courses.**

**IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL**:
**- Leading the enhancement of courses in Mechanical Engineering disciplines.**

**- Lead the course development and delivery plan in line with business objectives**

**- Ensuring exciting content is curated and accreditation of such courses with partner universities, Customers, to meet business objectives.**

**- Develop relevant raw content with a minimum amount of plagiarism.**

**- Strengthen course development, course review, and course accreditation activities to address current and emerging academic, industry, and community needs.**

**- Review the output during various stages of course development to ensure technical correctness and proper content flow.**

**- Ensure readiness of audio script for SME Video shoot and completion as per plan**

**- Must complete the video shoot with minimum errors**

**- Active participation in the RFI/RFQ phase with regards to all customer requirements**

**- Prepares presentations, reports, research, and other contract deliverables.**

**- Contribute to curriculum development, innovation, enhancement and quality assurance in the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum**

**TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE: - 20+ years relevant work experience - Experience in developing and delivering courses - Should have a consistent record in teaching and in development of new courses in the area of industrial design engineering, design futures, transdisciplinary design, systemic design or social design. - You bridge between academic research results and practice of industrial design engineering, design research, systemic design and/or socio-technical design for transitions. - Working knowledge of industry documentation practices (design documentation development phases, specifications, piping and instrumentation diagrams, plans, schedules, etc.). - Needs to have good video presence and voice modulation - Should have Mechanical Background - Should have good market understanding (Ed-Tech space) - Should able to carry relevant market research - Should be tech savvy and should understand various platforms. - Ph.D., M.Tech/M.E, & B.E in relevant field
