- The PCB Design Engineer will be tasked with supporting the development of power electronic and motor control hardware that push the state of the art in efficiency, power density, cost and thermal design.
- You will work closely with electrical and mechanical engineer to drive new product development from concept design through test & validation.
- Lead detailed component placement and power/signal routing working with electrical and mechanical engineers.
- Follow DFM, DFT, and DFA guidelines working with internal and external product development teams.
- Create documentation and procurement packages for PCB fabrication and PCB assembly
- Support and participate in symbol and footprint creation working with ECAD Librarian.
- Execute consistently successful PCB layouts with thoughtfulness and speed

REQUIRED BACKGROUND
- Bachelor in electrical engineering or equivalent industry experience
- Highly experienced with Altium Designer
- Extensive experience in electrical component library management
- Knowledge of layout practices for analog, digital and power circuitry to meet performance, thermal, and EMI requirements
- Understanding of IPC standards
- Experience in PCB designs up to 1000V and 500A

Preferred qualification
- Full PCB product life cycle development experience
- Experience in high-speed designs, PCB stack-up, and impedance control
- Experience in design for manufacturing, design for testing, design for assembly
- Automotive industry background
