Kolkata West Bengal, India KPC MEDICAL COLLEGE & HOSPITAL Full time

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Oversee and monitor day-to-day activities on the assigned floor to ensure smooth functioning.

2. Coordinate between doctors, nurses, paramedical staff, and administrative teams for seamless patient care.

3. Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers in coordination with the admission desk and nursing staff.

4. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards.

5. Address patient and attendant queries, concerns, and grievances in a professional manner.

6. Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of the floor; escalate issues to housekeeping/maintenance teams as required.

7. Assist in emergency situations by facilitating rapid communication and mobilization of resources.

8. Maintain accurate records of patient movement, bed occupancy, and resource utilization.

9. Support hospital administration in audits, inspections, and reporting requirements.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:
1. Graduate in any discipline (Healthcare / Hospital Administration preferred).

2. Minimum 2-4 years of experience in hospital operations or healthcare coordination.

3. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

4. Ability to handle stressful situations with calm and professionalism.

5. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and hospital procedures.

6. Proficiency in MS Office and hospital information systems (HIS) will be an added advantage.

7. Based on hospital floors, requires interaction with patients, attendants, and healthcare staff.

8. May involve rotational shifts, weekends, and emergency duty as per hospital requirements.
